We are a small, family-owned farm in Houma, LA, that specializes in aquaponics and microgreens. We are always expanding, so keep checking back with us to see what we're growing!

Delicious & Nutritious
Did you know that microgreens are delicious and nutritious? They are loaded with nutrients, and they add a fun pop of texture and color to almost any dish. We offer several varieties, such as sunflower, pea, rainbow chard, and a spicy brassica mix. We also have a small aquaponics farm, where we raise catfish and leafy greens in a closed-loop, soil-less system. The solid fish waste is filtered out and used in our outdoor gardens, while the aqueous waste, which is mostly ammonia, gets converted by various types of naturally occurring bacteria into usable nitrates for plants. We are currently working to expand our dirt farming. We do not use any synthetic chemicals on any of our plants, which can be a challenge in South Louisiana! We think the extra effort is worth it, however.
Our Mission
Our mission is to grow healthy produce and to raise healthy animals without the use of synthetic chemicals. We love the Bayou Region, and we are passionate about keeping the land, air, and water as healthy as our food!
Our Practices
While we are not officially certified as organic or regenerative, we do use these practices on our farm. Our aquaponics system is completely free of pesticides (even organic pesticides) because of the potential to kill our fish. Our approach to more traditional dirt farming is to farm healthy soil, and the plants will follow. We use cover crops to increase organic matter in our soil, which is very clay-ey.
We also refuse to use pesticides or herbicides, and we are lucky to have bee-keepers for neighbors! We currently use low-till methods to continue to incorporate cover crops into our soil, but we plan to taper off tillage as our soil improves.
